Columbus Crusaders Youth Sports - since 1996
The Crusaders are a sports ministry, that seeks to teach young men and women
how to live lives that Honor Jesus both on and off the field. We are committed to
offering programs that edify and equip the whole athlete for excellence in athletics
by providing and balancing biblically based teachings and intentional character-
building to Honor Jesus and impact their communities.
A group of men and women got together in 1996 to start an unconventional
football program. The Crusaders developed a mission to actively disciple young
men and women to Honor Jesus while balancing purposeful, biblical character-
building with a pursuit of physical achievement for almost 28 years.
Crusader football & cheerleading has been a tradition since 1996, incorporating a
high-level off-season training program & skills camp. In 2013, the Crusaders
introduced opportunities for rugby, basketball, flag football, & cheerleading. Now a
year-round ministry, the Crusaders reach youth from kindergarten to grade 12 in
the central Ohio area.
Our dream is to see The Crusader ministry continue to grow, guiding young hearts
toward Christ and influencing families for the Kingdom of God! We serve any and
every athlete Jesus sends our way, and we continue to expand our reach across
central Ohio and beyond.
The Crusaders have an amazing opportunity to participate in the National
Homeschool Football Tournament down in Panama City Beach, FL. These young
men and women have poured their hearts and souls out this year to become 2-time
Great Lakes Christian Athletic Conference South Division and League Champions
and be presented with this opportunity to play with and against other homeschool
programs across the nation.
Currently we are trying to raise $30,000 to help fund this trip. The $30,000 that we
are trying to raise will help fund player/organization participation in the
tournament, renting a charter bus as transportation, food and housing.
We are asking a few people and organizations to become key partners to rally their
