At Columbus Crusaders Youth Sports, we believe in the transformative power of the gospel. Our mission is “Guiding young men and women to biblical maturity through excellence in sports” while also providing young people with the opportunity to grow as disciplined athletes and as godly young people who will become future leaders in their homes and communities.

Our programs are carefully designed to integrate biblical teachings and values with sports training. We help our youth develop character, integrity, discipline, and a deep connection to their faith. We are proud to serve a diverse group of young men and women from various backgrounds and walks of life.

The Crusaders strive to foster an inclusive, welcoming, and encouraging environment for the players. Every year students who come to us to play a sport, find their hearts transformed by the good news of Jesus Christ, and leave us not only as better athletes, but also as motivated followers of Jesus. For example, at our season-end football celebration three players made public their commitment to Jesus by being baptized.

Because many were generous, many could play. Your giving helps keep participation fees low, while helping to offer financial aid to those who most benefit. So far this year, 70 young men participated in football, 75 boys and girls played flag football, and 20 young women were on our softball and cheer teams.

We firmly believe that nurturing biblical maturity through sports excellence is a unique and powerful way to shape future leaders of our churches and neighborhoods. Many Crusader alumni are now leaders and influencers in the fields of law, finance, the military, law enforcement, to name only a few. Your generous giving plays a vital role in this mission.
